Keep all your Jars!
Keeping your food and snacks in jars is an easy way to keep things organised and fresh. Everybody has a spare jar around their home and if not, they are not expensive to buy. You could even was and re-use jars such as jam jars, or condiment jars. What I love about this image is the way chalkboard paint has been used to label the jars. This is a perfect method as you can write the contents of the jar and the expiry date to keep track of everything you have. If you keep your jars in a drawer like this you can easily see what you have at a glance.

Tins, Tins, Tins
This looks to me, like the perfect idea for storing tins. When you have to stack tins in a cupboard it just leads to everything falling over and making a mess. It may be complicated to re-create however it has a great purpose. Everyone has those staples that they stock up on, whether it be tins of Scotch Broth for the winter or Baked Beans for those times when you are desperate for a quick meal. This method allows you to see how many of each tin you have left and what you need more of, which is great for when writing your shopping list!
If the tin display shelf is too complicated try keeping everything in these storage crates. This has all the same benefits as the wall display yet is is easier to re-produce in your home. These crates can be used to keep any snacks in which are the perfect height for children to reach for in the kitchen.
Having seperate compartments for your cutlery makes life a whole lot easier when empting the dishwasher. This method works much better than the plastic compartments that you find in supermarkets and homeware stores which tend to get full and overcrowded.
This method can easily be DIY-ed, all you need is a deep drawer and some wood.

Display your Favourites
If there are items that you regularly use or pieces that you love to see in your home, put up some shelves and display them for everyone to see.
This image is similar to our Tea and Coffee stations and looks like it would work well as a breakfast station. The toaster and plates are there ready to make your first meal of the day, with the coffee cups and glasses straight to the right for your morning drink. All that is missing is a kettle.
We love the bright flower placed on the surface, they really liven up the room.
